How long can I use a temporary email?

New addresses are valid for 3 hours by default. You can extend them during that period, but each address has a maximum lifespan of 24 hours.

Why hasn't my verification email arrived?

Emails usually appear within a few dozen seconds. Check that the address is complete, refresh the inbox manually, and make sure the sender's site hasn't blocked temporary domains.

Can I use a temporary email for important account emails?

We don't recommend it. An expired address cannot be recovered, so temporary email is better suited to one-time codes, download links, trial notifications, and delivery testing.

What's the difference between a temporary email and a forwarding alias?

A temporary email has a defined lifespan and requires no login. A forwarding alias requires login, is designed for long-term use, and forwards messages to your real email address.
